| This is the WI. It was built in 1941. We call it the opec engine. It buns as much oil as gas. It is a strong runner, though. Somebody put a stock piston in an engine worn to.020 over. It is a further evolution of the Wm series. | ||||||||||||||
| This engine has a further advanced design of Carburator. It is more complicated than the Wm's little mixer. You can see the oil on the exhaust in this picture. Another advance is that the spark plug has been moved to the center of the head, directly over the cylinder. and there is an air cleaner. There is also the later style deep oil sump that all wm engines were supposed to be converted to. | ||||||||||||||
| Update! After having this engine sit in my shop in a 5 gallon pail for 3 years, I sold it on ebay during the summer of 2006 |
