| This page is devoted to my solar adventures. Although my system has grown, I don't currently have anymore pics. As of january, This was the panel that I was using. It is an off brand 11w Amorphous cell panel. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| My system currently consists of the above panel and two 15W panels that I purchased through Northern Tools. I use a 7 Amp charge controller that charges a 125 Amp-Hour Deep Cycle battery From Wal Mart. For the Conversion to 120, I use A Vector Maxx series 350W Modified Sine Wave Inverter. This system will run my Computer for a hour and a half, My TV for 4 hours or various lights for up to 10 Hours before the state of charge reaches 60%. At this point I usually shut things down to allow the battery to charge. Charging from 50% Takes approx 3 days of full sun with no use. For emergency power and light use, this system works quite well. |

| As I stated above, the battery I use is An Everstart Maxx Marine battery. It is rated at 125 AH. I also am using a ammeter to monitor discharge. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| Charging is controlled by this simple charge controller. When I was just using the 11W panel I just watched the battery Voltage carefully, But now that I have three panels, that doesn't work so well. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| Finally, This is the inverter that I use. It runs electronics and lights well, but it has a hard time with motors. Also, If measured with a voltmeter, it only puts out about 95 volts. This is due to the relatively square wave that comes out | |||||||||||||||||||||||
