A friend told me that there was an old engine in a building on his dad's logging property. I told him that I would be interested in taking a look at it and was rather astonished at what I found. I have no idea who made it as there was no id on the engine. The building it is in is falling down, and it is missing all important parts. It was intetesting to go take a look as it and all of the wells were just left alone. I took a total of 69 pics, but most didn't come out. there are some numbers on the engine, but  they seem to be casting numbers. any help in ID ing this engine would be appreciated.
This is a view of the base and the cylinder. The intake is on the top. also, you can see a large crack on the far side of the base.
This is a better view of the cylinder. You can really see the intake better. The building is made of corrugated tin, so it is really hard to get good pics  with the  roof falling down.
Here is a good pic of the head and the large (4-5") exhaust. I figure that this number is a casting date.
Again, any help that anybody can give me would be appreciated.
