This is a 1971 Simplicity Serf. It has it's original Briggs 5 hp aluminum engine. It is pull start, with a two speed transmission. It is a first year production model and has a serial number below 2000.

This tractor always gets lots of attention at most shows, because it is so small. also, the suspension joint is not on the front axle, it is right between the operators legs. This gives the operator the feeling that the tractor is breaking in two if you are not used to it. I have been asked if this machine is for sale by more people than any other machine I own (even more than the stuff that is for sale!). |
