Hmmm. I seem to have put many pics up for equipment. I am getting near the max. for the Geocities free account. Anyways, This is my Gravely Model L. It was built in 1954, Just before Gravely was a division of Packard I belive. anyhow, I got mine the same time as the Gibson. It has a sicklebar mower and a snowblower. I probably should also add that it has few if any saftey devices.
As you can see in the pics, It has electric start and the snowblower attached. This unit has only right or left directions and an exposed auger.
This picture shows the problem of having right and left only. The snow can drift quite badly in windy weather. It also is hard to direct when coming to the end of a driveway especially if neighbor's cars are nearby. The only other problem with this unit is that the exposed auger throws some snow straight out of the machine. This is a problem when appraching cars and buildings.
Here it is with the sicklebar mower. I wish I had more space to get this machine out and really have fun. I have to replace The air intake hose, but aside from that  (and the oil leaks) it will cut anything down, including small trees. The only real problem is that is vibrates terribly!!!
Update!
After not using this machine for 2 years, I finally replaced the starter chain, air hose, battery, and changed the oil/filter. After having the Points cleaned, it started right up.
I am actively looking for a brushog for this tractor. My local gravely Dealer can get one for bewn 3 and 4 hundred. This will make summer use MUCH easier.
