Ok. So the show started around 8, and I got there at around... 7:50. The majority of the people were already in the club. There was about 10 people in front of me in he line. So I went in, and all I saw was this...neon colored room. It was cool. My shoelaces were glowing white :). So I was looking for the IC people, and I saw Chuck talking by the merch stand. I walked up this little...step, and there I saw Angelika and Uschi and Uschi's little neighbour. Aww. So then we met, blah blah, and then I went to buy some merch with Angelika. I took a picture of Pat, and he sold me a SP shirt and a wallet. How I love that wallet now. Then we saw Chuck and I got a picture with him. Yes, I did. Then, Not by Choice started playing.
That was cool. We tried to get up front but it was stuffed and we couldnt get through. So we saw the stairs! at both sides! It took us a while to find where the stairs were. We went up while NBC was playing and we got pretty close on the stairs. Some pictures were taken, the security guards made us move up the stairs and such. I also saw HAMBONE! What a great kid.(from Hope To Die). And then Seb and Pierre were on the opposite side, on the other stairs, and Angelika and Seb exchanged some waves. NBC played quite a few songs, but the only one I knew was standing all alone. Way to go, me. They are really good live, and I've heard otherwise. So then they got off the stage, which was the poorest stange I've ever seen, and we went somewhere.. in the club. YES! We went on the other stairs now. We were only allowed to stay for a few pictures, but we stayed through the whole show. So after about.. 10-20 minutes, Simple Plan came out.
The crowd was great. I wished I was in it. They started off by playing Addicted, and then You dont mean anything. Then, they played One day, I'd do anything, When I'm with you, God must hate me, Worst day ever, I'm just a kid, My Alien, Perfect, I won't be there, Grow up, My Christmas list, aaaaaaand.... American Jesus. YES, they actually did! I was super excited, because I did wear a BR hoodie. I took pictures, I sure did. Pierre said that this was the safest show they've ever been to, because no one threw stuff at them. Uhhm. I must say, this was the best performance out of the two I've seen. Maybe because I wasn't in the pit, therefore easier for me to concentrate on the show. Overall, I was overwhelmed. They said they're going to come back. And they better, just at a different club.
So then, they got off, and Angelika and I went down the stairs to the merch table. It was PACKED. I thought they were all buying merch. But, as it turned out, Jeff was signing stuff. yep. Angelika saw her friends Ashley and Shyla, and we said hi and blah. And then I saw my cousin, and he took some pictures of Jeff, because I wasnt "tall" enough, or something. So we did that, and we walked toward the enterance, and I saw Becka and Josie! yes, i did. And then I saw Steph, and some guys, and Jeff. I had to leave.. because it was a school night.. so we left at..10:30. Great night. Pics will come soon :)
