| Bala sharks are graceful fish that need alot of attention from there owners,im here to try to help u care for this fish or maybe bribe u into buying this wonderful specimen :) APPERANCE The bala shark has mettalic scales and a torpedo shapped body,there fins are very notciable cause the edgles are dark dark black. They have large eyes to navagate when the lights are dim. PORPER HOUSING Bala sharks are omnivours so they will accept foods like flakes, freezedried,live etc i sugest u add some greens into there diet like skinned peas and lettuce. COMPATIBILITY Bala sharks are schooling fish so i sugest u keep them with 2 or more other bala sharks. bala sharks are good with fish similer sized or larger than them. some great fish to keep with them are rainbows,redtail sharks,gouramis,all barbs and clown loaches SIZE AND LIFE SPAN bala sharks will eventully reach 14 inches in length and live for several years. WATER CONDITIONS temp.: 75-80 C PH: 6.5-7 SEXUAL DIFFERENCE The females will tend to be larger in the belly are but may be diffeacult to tell,the best way to tell is to watch them breed very CAREFULLY WATER REGION These fish swim in all levels of the tank BREEDING Bala sharks are very diffaclut to breed and need optimal water conditions so i do not sugest this to beginers at all! so i will not waste our time to explain this!! PERCHISING I sugest u buy these fish when they are larger because they tend to be very delacit when they are smaller than 2 inches. so if u plan on buying i sugest u buy 1 that 3 inches+ NOTE: by 3 atleast to keep them happy!! FUN AND EXTRA STUFF NOTE: Bala sharks are JUMPERS I repeat JUMPERS lol so keepyour aquarium shut as often as possable!! Bala sharks make a a clicking sound when they try to comunacate with each other. One day when they first started to click i thought the glass was cracking ALMOST HAD A HEART ATTACK LMAO :P Bala sharks are fun to watch and may end up eating out of your hand if they trust u enough.!! all u got to di is provide it with loveing care and they will love u in return!! :) BALA SHARKS ARE WONDERFUL FISH AND I SUGEST THEM TO ANY1,INCLUDING U!!! |
