| For a turn of pace I thought I would go for an American type, and as we have a real airworthy type at my local airport, what better than a P-51 Mustang. Monograms original to be exact, in 1/48th Scale of course. |

| It might look simple, but it's still a very nice cast, recessed lines, great looking panels and it looks like it will go together like a dream. There is quite good cockpit details on the other side too, all raised detail, to build up into a nice looking cockpit. |

| Great looking detail for the wings, including the wheel wells and the gun bays which can be modelled open if you like, nice feature! You can see the rest of the cockpit subassembly, as mentioned earlier. |

| Revell do quite a good job with their manuals and this is no exception. Good drawings and instructions, very easy to follow. |
