| United Center Show (Selidan and SmPu033's story) |
| Amanda (SmPu033) and I (Selidan) left early Wednesday morning to go to the United Center show. We were a little upset that we weren't able to make it to the Metro, but were extremely excited about the show. I left on Tuesday to drive up to Columbus, OH from West Virginia and stayed that night in Columbus with Amanda. So yeah, early Wednesday morning we began our trip from Columbus to Chicago. We met up with some friends, had dinner, and were off to the show. Well we had section 309 seats. Don't get me wrong.. we were glad to be there in the first place, but I have never been less than front row to any Pumpkins concert I have ever been to so we were determined to get closer. We decided to take a walk down to the first floor of the UC. There we saw a priest with a backstage pass chain smoking. This was an odd sight so we had to go talk to him. Well it turned out that this priest is Jimmy's nephew's friend, and he gave us his ticket!!! He was such a nice person. So we ended up being able to enjoy the show from right next to the stage. :) |

| Well needless to say the show was awesome! It was the best concert I have ever been to in my entire life. When Billy Corgan Sr. took to stage with Billy to play "For Martha" my heart just melted. Then after that I saw Billy Corgan Sr. standing on the side of the stage and he was looking at me. I blew him kisses and he blew me kisses back. Amanda motioned that she loved Billy and he answered saying that he does too. (hehe) So then he posed for a picture for us from the stage. After the show was over he came over to where we were sitting and talked to us and shook our hands and posed for a couple pictures. He was so very sweet. I told him what an incredible son he had, and his face just beamed with pride. He was so cool! Then the show ended, we tried our luck on getting backstage but eventually got busted. (hehe) Then we went outside and talked to Billy's lawyers for awhile who were really funny. I made fun of them for not being able to catch a cab. ;) They were really cool. So then our night was over, and we went back to Carol Stream where we were staying with my uncle. So anyway.. here are the pictures of Billy's dad. |
