Cleveland, OH
Okay, this is my story about Cleveland, OH. Ashleigh, Amanda, and I arrived at the Best Buy at 3:30 AM after getting completly lost in Cleveland. There were already about 10 people there. So we camped out on the sidewalk. We met a lot of great people.. I don't remember all their names, but I do remember Stacey and Karin. They were really cool and they've been to tons of these things and have met the band numerous times. To hear more about that, go to Stacey's webpage.
Anyway, we finally got in at 7:00 PM. I was about seventh in line I think. I started crying as soon as I got into the building. The band was really cool and they all talked to me and signed my journal. I had little gifts for all of them. When I got to Billy I was full out bawling. The first thing Billy did was hug me and say, "Honey, why are you crying? Please don't cry." So I told him how much him and his music means to me and all that stuff that I won't get into. I also asked if he remembered Ashleigh and me from Albany, and he said, "Yeah I remember you two. You troublemakers." So I gave him his gift and told him that I loved him and he hugged me again, kissed me on the cheek, and said, "Thanks baby."
So from there, Ashleigh and I got our wristbands cut off. We turn around and Amanda had been crying so much that Billy asked her to come behind the table with him til she calmed down and they could talk. Ashleigh and I tried to go back there too, and talk to Amanda and Billy, but the security guards were pushing us around and took us out of the building. We went through a lot of shit before we found Melanie (the promotional director from Virgin) We told her what happened so she went back to talk to Amanda. Billy overheard the conversation and said, "Bring those girls back."
So yay! We got to go back and be behind the table with the band for the rest of the signing along with Karin, Stacey, and Billy's friend Meghan. It was the best day of my life! :)
Billy would turn around and talk to us and say the cutest, funniest things! Then after the signing we all got pictures n stuff.
