Simon was a suprise visitor and got a warm welcome, he got third and a 2nd in the heats, then Simon rolled the P5 in the final. 112 Sean won the Final (Austin 3 litre)

The evening after Arlington Simon turned up at HQ using the Coupe and he got a rough ride from Waspy (XJ). 122 Sticko won the final (Granada)

On the Saturday evening Simon followed 711 Kevin Welch in.
Sunday was controversial as 711 extracted revenge on the parade when Simon had the Caravan attached to the roof of the limo ! with people on it he rammed the limo luckily no one was hurt and the Majestic came out for the Caravan race won by 8 Lunness (Granada)

Simon was in a feud with 151 Robbie Warner and his brothers/ mates ! Simon was put of by 151 in the first race, who attempted the follow in. Simon returned for heat 2 exchanging steams with 151, also running the empty 150 Kevin Warner (Trummy) and 143 Peter Rose (Trummy) on the infield ! The Final saw Simon outnumbered and squashed by 151/150. Final was won by 217 Dave Taylor (Rover SD1)

Simon clashed with 902 Basher Ben (Toyota) in the first race. In the Allcomers Simon demolished the Yogi (MK3) which had also recieved attention from 230 and 349 John Allard.

This meeting was now a yearly visit for Simon and it was very successful with a heat win then Simon took the title ! Nobody tried to stop Simon winning the title !

Simon diced for the lead with 122 Sticko (Austin 3 litre hearse) until colliding with 626 Dave Sargent's A60 on the crossover. However Simon got a 3rd , and Simon crashed out in the final on the crossover ! . 353 Wild Bill (Trummy) won the title.

Simon won the first race and then won the final but on the way he steamed 903 Trummy estate !

Simon finished 2nd in the first heat removing 203 Bernie French on the run down lap also hitting the dead 334 car causing axle damage !. No finish in the final as Simon was hung on the fence won by 168 Mad Malc (MK2 Granada)

Simon qualified comfortably but he didn't finish the big race but he annihilated Continental visitor C52 Reno 12 estate. No other finishes.

SIMON GOT 46 POINTS IN THE QUALIFYING SYSTEM IN 6TH PLACE. TOP WAS 716 TINY WITH 60 POINTS.
WISBECH 3/12 - Austin A135 Princess hearse *
No finishes in the races but in heat 1 Simon flattened MK4 of 416 Mick Pack then he hit 809 Dave Hill Crown estate before spun by 70 Chick Overy (6/110) Simon continued wrecking but had steering trouble. Again well stuck in heat 2, a hectic race.. Final won by 627 in the Rover. Simon got runner up in the DD to 344 Dale Curtiss (Granada) after gearbox problems

WISBECH 18/2 - Granada (fresh) *
Under 2 litre
Simon got a 7th in the heat and 4th in the final, Won by 426 Dicky Raymond (Granada estate) In heat 2 Simon made his presence felt as 101 Carl Crowson and 86 Dave Horsnelle found out. Simon flattened 6 Ben Storey and 19 in the final.
IPSWICH 19/2 - Jaguar XJ6 and BMW 3 Litre for rollover (fresh) *
No finishes but the Warner feud kicked off as Simon went for a big follow in on 151 Robbie in the final but 151 escaped but was fenced shortly after and Simon moved in for the blitz! Simon was a non starter in heat 2 but in the final Simon got into the lead until 151 came of the infield damaging Simon's axle, Simon spent the rest if the race wrecking anyone within range except 151 who had returned to the infield. 752 Neil Eade won the final (Granada) and 666 Graham Long won the rollover in a Honda Civic.
ALDERSHOT 11/3 - Leyland EA (fresh) *
Simon's body was early to drop off in heat 2, pleasing the crowd. Simon got a 6th in the final won by 85 Stumpy (LWB Transit) 728 Spike Dray won the dd (EA) from Dave Damon (EA). All 6 EA'S were last runners to battle the D.D

Simon got a 2nd in the first heat. In the second heat Simon attempted to follow in 6 Basher Ben in the Super Snipe but 6 bounced off the wires and Simon went in instead! Basher Ben returned to shunt Simon back in and keep him there. 309 Dave Lane (Trummy 2000 mk1) won the final.

World Qualifier. Simon recorded a 7th in heat one. Simon got involved in a Tigers/Wisbo VS Yarmo war fencing 88 Speedy after he attacked 333 Bob Foreman. Simon pulled of early in the final. 362 Geoff Baker won the final (Granada)

Simon again took part in the 1.3 Team meeting this time for the "Fen Tigers" but he had no finishes. Heat 4 Simon attacked by 323 Waspy, also jacked by 300 Steve Stocker. 251 Roger Harber won the final (Agronauts, MK3 Cortina)

WISBECH 11/11 - Austin 3 litre (used) *
Simon got a 4th in the first heat and on the way he picked up 47 Chris Malkin reno 20 and posted it. Then Simon shortened the 32 Datsun 180B estate and 32 Mick Gedney retaliated by ramming Simon on the grass. Race 2 Simon poled the 912 Victor estate but later damaged his steering. �100 pound Final and Simon was out for a crash fencing 241 Bert Miller, then the 916 MK4 before tangling with 912 again. Simon got going again and fenced 802. Final was won by 189 Daryll Andrews (MK2 Granada)

Simon followed in stock pilot 183 Andy Mews in the final after 183 had attacked him in the first race. Simon got a 6th in the final, won by 350 Kipper (MK4 Cortina)
