South Africa

When: March 1999.

With: Daddy.

Itinerary: Inbound flight to Johanesbourgh, Kruger National Park, Blyde River Canion, Pretoria, flight to Cape Town, Cape of Good Hope, Camps Bay, Cape Point, Stellenbosch...

Transportation: we rent a car at Johanesbourg airport, and at Cape Town airport.

Books I had with me: Lonely Planet South Africa.

A few raccomandations: the public transportation network it is not develop enough to allow you to travel around fast and easily, so if you dont have much time available, rent a car. We actually wanted to avoid it, but and the end it turned out to be a great thing. Allow you at least two days in Kruger National park, the Blyde River Canyon its wonderfull, in the area there are also a bunch of waterfalls you definetly have to see. We spent a night in Pretoria not much to say about it. Cape Town is a masterpiece!! A week at least for the city and the wine area..Stellenbosch is a second masterpiece...if you go for the wine route have someone driving your car!!

Thanks to..............the one and only lion we saw in KRUGER NATIONAL PARK because he made our trip to the park worth it....."THE TRACKERS" near Hoedspruit for the warm hospitality, and of course Vittorio and Marianna Puddł owners of "BRANDWACHT COUNTRY LODGE" for the nice moment we shared
