Itinerary: flight to BKG, Ko Samui, Pukhet, Ko PeePee, Pukhet, Ayutthaya, BKG.
Transportation: flights from BKG to Ko Samui from Ko Samui to Phuket and from Phuket to BKG, boat, and motorbike.
Books I had with me: Lonely Planet Thailand. Definetly read THE BEACHAlex Garland....cool!!
A few raccomandations: I enjoyed Thailand a lot, you can relax on one of the wonderfull beaches, or walk around and learn about the colture and tradition of this country. Always depending on the time you have, I think it's worth it to take a intern flight to Ko Samui, accomodation can be easily booked and they go from bottom end to luxus resort. Ayutthaya is a very nice city and deserve a visit.
