On April 20th 2002, five of us descended on the Millenium Arts Center in DC to play in the Crosstown Jam. After cursing the concert organizers for picking such a bad location, we unloaded our gear and beer and got ready to play. We were scheduled for the 9-10 time slot, and our set consisted mainly of songs composed by Clator Butler, who was playing guitar and singing. I was on bass, and three guys drove up from Texas to fill out the band, including Steve on guitar, Spencer on drums, and Matt on vocals.
As 9 pm rolled around, we cranked on the fog machine and started to play. I was dressed as my rock star alter ego Thor (pronounced Tor), complete with long hair and tatoos. We blasted through Clator's orignals, and then played "The Fly" by U2. As a finale, and tribute to Lane Staley, we played "Man in the Box" by Alice in Chains. As evident in the pictures, Matt cranked up the vocals and tore the house down.
We had a great time playing and I would like to thank everyone for coming out to see us!!! Until next time.... Thor
