This is a picture of one of the funniest people on the planet. This guy set himself up along a sidewalk in Vienna's shopping district. People would have to walk past him from the right and left sides of the picture, so he would have every opportunity to screw with them. He took people's cigarettes out of their mouths and smoked them; he would take food out of one person's hand and feed it to someone who was walking by; an old guy with a red face walked by so he pretended to sneeze and yelled "alcoholic!" right in the guys face; men in cheap suits were accused of being in the Russian mafia. He called it "live theater," and it was inspiring to see the guy think so quickly.

I saw some amazing architecture and countryside on my trip, but a lot of those memories tend to blur together over time. This street performer sticks out in my mind as a guy who is out there doing something different, not to make money but just to make other people laugh. The cities and sites of Europe are nothing without the people who live there, so get out there and laugh at them!
