MY ITINERARY
Outline plan is:

- depart for San Francisco on Tuesday Sep 9th

- stay in SF for around 8-9 days, then drive down Highway One to LA

- fly from LA to Cancun on 20th September and spend the next 10 weeks taking part in a marine conservation expedition on the Caribbean coast of Mexico (see
HERE for more info)

- fly back from Cancun to LA on 3rd Dec and from there onto New Zealand

- spend approx 3 months in NZ : lots of diving, especially in the North Island

- fly from Auckland to Perth in early March 2004

- wander slowly up the west coast of Australia, aiming to arrive at Exmouth in time to see the Whale Shark migrations off Ningaloo Reef!

- continue North to Darwin before heading south, via Ayers rock, back to Melbourne (this could be a bit of a trek!)

- cruise up the coast from Melbourne to Sydney

- fly from Sydney to Singapore in mid July

- meander overland from Singapore to Bangkok. Lots of beaches, islands, diving, snorkelling etc

- fly back to London  in early Sep 2004 (unless Thailand is too good to leave!!!)
