Ireland - The Coasts of Antrim and Galway |
Photos taken on a trip to Ireland with Richard in September 2002. We stayed near Ballymoney in Country Antim, as well as taking a bus to Gallway. Whilst in Galway we spent several days on the Island of Inishmor. |

Richard, here bouldering on a lovely outcrop of rocks on Inishmor. Unfortuanely we left our rock boots at camp....but that didn't stop us. |

Walking back at the bottom of the Cliffs at Fairhead and looking west, earlier in the day the northern part of Donnegal was visible. |

The sharp cliffs of Fairhead are seen here, as the sun set. The path up below the cliff shown used to be a sumglers root to get goods into Ireland. |

A view of Inishmor from a 3000 year old fort set at the top of septacular 80 meter high verticle sea cliffs. The veiw shows most of the island, and the wall in the middlegrond is part of the defences of this impressive fort - Dun Aengus. |
