| Sadly, these games weren't on the top of priorities for Squaresoft and both games suffered due to this. Unfortunately, the game will most likely be purchased by Veterans who are looking to update their collection, rather then novices trying to find their roots with these wonderful Square titles. Also, Chronicles suffers from lack of advertising which will also hurt it immensely. A bit of good news for the US sales, however, is its time of release. The Final Fantasy movie, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, was released about a week after the release of FFC. Hopefully some of the build up will help new gamers decide to purchase these masterfull games! It hurts me deeply to give this anything less then a Gold but due to the total lack of effort I must lower its grade a bit.
