| This is a beat em up, so I bet you want to know, what it is like smashing peoples faces in on DOA2..... The objective is the same of all other fighting games under all that appealling gloss of visuals. DOA2 is extremely fast in hand to hand combat, blink and you will miss an attack, it really is that fast. The characters fighting styles are so full of charisma and class, all very different in style. Hayabusa is a ninja warrior, who has some hard to pull off but spectacular ground and ariel moves, while Kasumi is extremely fast with evasion moves etc. Just like the crappy prequel, DOA2 has some pretty spectacular reversal moves, with the press of the square button with some direction controls, oncoming punches and kicks can be stopped and held and then reversed with some throws, it is a very good system and adds a load of tactical elements in to the combat, throws can also be linked together to create some very cool damaging attacks. The game modes offer quite a lot for solo and multi player experiences, it contains all the usual survival modes, team battles etc. The story mode is a pure let down, there hardly is any story or any story worth bothering about, the acting is fine though, and bits of the story are well done, but it could have been better, MUCH BETTER. Secrets come in the range of a couple of characters and a load of new costumes. The costumes are the main secrets they have worked on, most of the characters have at least 6 or 7, and personally I think it is a cool secret, and a new idea over the old collections of secret fighters mould.
