Crouching Tiger: Hidden Dragon
Possibly one of the most hyped movies in history, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is unfortunately a bit of a mixed bag and doesn't quite live up to all the hype it received.

The main thing Crouching Tiger has going for it, are the splendid fight scenes, the choreography is excellent in these scenes with every blow looking like it is making contact. Feet, fists and swords are thrown with much speed and fury and bodies glide gracefully through the air (yes, these guys can fly) visually brilliant!

Its all about a sword known as the green destiny which is stolen by Jen Yu ( Zhang Ziyi) an impressive fighter who still lacks the knowledge to yet be called great and as you would imagine the owner of the sword, Li Muh Bai (Chow Yun Fat) isn't too happy about his legendry and loved posession being taken, so with the help of his girlfriend, Yu Shu Lien they attempt to retreive it. Sadly the plot is one of the major downfalls as it lacks clarity and certainly needs worked on but still is entertaining at times.

Crouching Tiger is way overhyped but still manages to be a must see movie maybe just to see the fantastic martial arts it has to offer, rent it. ***
