Platform hopping is an obvious feature that couldn't be removed, and there is plenty of it to test your fingers here, this is no bad thing by any means, all the moving platforms and dificult jumps are here to master.

The graphical touches to this game can be described as easy on the eye without any blood or guts to obscure the relaxed nature of the game. Please note that this is a FACT and when I say FACT I mean it's an honest quote, they have truthfully abolished pop-up with this graphical make up, the world's are massively expansive, with distance to be seen, totally unbeleivable.
The animation and visual front are almost perfect with it all having a kind of cartoon look and not forget to mention feel. For the animation Ex-Disney animators were apparently used, and in this aspect their work has seriously paid off. The actual visuals are certainly eye candy, but it's eye candy that doesn't get in the way of the substance. Take these points and visual milestones for example, just look at that boiling lava, that breezy blue sky, the lighting changing from day to night, these are just touching the surface of a very deep graphical engine which is hard to explain, but certainly proves the PS2 can create brilliant graphics even if it is behind the other two in specs, one of the best looking games to reach PS2 this year!!!!

Jak & Daxter is a game that plays like a dream, worth every penny, every minute, every hour, every day, every power cell....every missed date, going a bit far, ok you get the picture, J&D is a Crash beater all the way, lets sign the petition for the sequel!!!!!!!!!!
