| Hannibal Based on the book of the same name, the sequel to The Silence Of The Lambs, is just about to step over the crap mark! Julliane Moore replaces Jodie Foster as FBI agent Clarice Starling, and does a pretty good job in Hannibal Lecter's company, while Lecter is yet again played by Anthony Hopkins, simply because Hopkins is the one and only Lecter, he can not be replaced he is perfect in the role! Many years have passed since Lecter's escape, and Mason Verger (Gary Oldman) wants revenge on the psycho who disfigured his face, making him look like something out of a horror movie, his revenge plans include man-eating pigs, need I say more? Lecter and Starling's obsessive ways are bought back to the front, with him showing a kind of love, and her always on his trail, but what does Starling really feel about Lecter? Who knows, that question isn't answered on this movie Hannibal sadly doesn't convert to the screen too well, and we are left with a boring film, with a lot of gore!** |
