I just started this page June 13th 2008. I am working on several projects that will be featured on this site including Parchment handbook, Mamluk material and my illuminations among many other things.  Please let me know if there is anything you would like to see here, also please add a link from my page to yours, lets connect!


My SCA persona is a 13th century englishman who was captured as a boy during the crusades.  I was taken in as a mamluk slave and earned my freedom through many years of hard work.  Mamluk information is somewhat widespread on the internet and I am going to use my page as a portal of discovery for this wonderful aspect of Islamic culture and history.
