Description:    Typist is a typing tutor package built using Curses.
                The package contains a number of tutorials, drills,
                and practise sessions to help with mastering touch
                typing on the standard computer keyboard.  The accent
                is on the US keyboard layout, but the lessons may
                also be useful with other layouts.  A Dvorak lesson
                set is included.  Version 2.2 is an extended and
                improved version of the original 'typist' program,
                found floating free on the net.  Users interested in
                this program are also encouraged to investigate the
                'JTypist' package, which contains the same lessons and
                tutorials, presented using a Java AWT graphical
                interface, and with improved timing statistics.
