Riptide's Nueva Dia MAD JM RM GM SM FDCh OA OAJ NAC NGC RS-N GS-N "Dia" Welcome to Dia's Agility Page! It's been over a year since I updated this page and boy have things changed! Dia had a terrific year in 2002 - she earned the following titles - AAD, MAD, GM, RM, JM, SM, and OA.  She qualified for the 2002 Grand Prix, Steeplechase, and DAM Team Championship events as well as the 2003 Grand Prix Steeplechase Championships.  The highlight of the year was our trip to Dallas, TX for the 2002 USDAA Grand Prix of Dog Agility World Championship.  Much to my surprise and delight (and terror!), Dia made the Finals of the 22" class.  We had a clear round in the Finals and placed 8th from an original field of 125 +/- dogs.  What an accomplishment for a dog who had yet to earn a single leg in the Masters Standard class :-).  I am so proud of my girl!  So far in 2003, Dia has once again qualified for the 2003 DAM Team Championship.  She also started and finished her OAJ title at the USASA National Specialty, winning the 20" Open JWW class all three days. Watch this page for more updates as Dia's agility career continues - it's been a lot of fun already!

These next two photos were also taken by Tien Tran.  Notice how much more intense Dia's expression is in these new photos.   The "Whee This Is Fun!" expression has been replaced by a much more serious and competative look
