| The Story: | It's still a moot point within cricket circles as to whether it really was "Joe the Cameraman" who made the comment or whether it was (then) Australian Vice Captain Shane Warne, but when Brett Lee, brother Shane, Gavin Robertson, Brad McNamara and Richard Chee Quee - collectively Australia's most unexpected rock'n'roll band, Six & Out - were kicking around ideas for some original songs to include on their self-titled debut album, Can't Bowl Can't Throw was a natural. And Joe even makes a guest appearance!
"Garth Porter, Colin Buchanan and the five of us (Six & Out) wrote the song," McNamara explains. "And it's actually got nothing to do with the 'incident' itself. The last verse is actually a personal experience of mine, when I met my girlfriend! It's just fun, catchy tune. |
