What is Reunion?
In May, our class is celebrating our 5th year anniversary of commencement. Simmons Office of Alumnae/i Relations sponsors a 3 day reunion celebration for all class years ending in 3 or 8 (98, 93, 83, 78, 63, etc...). Most of the events are open to all alums attending reunion but some, are for the Class of 1998 only. The highlight for the class of 1998 is a Saturday Evening event.

Vice-President Gina Hill is the reunion chairwoman for our class. Between now and the end of May, she will be sending announcements and information about this fantastic event to all class of 1998 members, so save the date!

Class Event - Saturday Evening, May 31
We will be going on the Spirit of Boston. The cruise is from 7-10 p.m. Tickets are $68.00 per person. Spouses, significant others and friends are welcome. The attire is dress casual.
We will  meet in Smith Hall at 6 p.m. and proceed to take the train to the boat. If anyone will be driving and would not mind car pooling please let Gina know ASAP!

Have you paid your Dues?
In order throw the best reunion ever, we need the funds. The best way you can help is by paying dues. Free tickets to the cruise will be raffled off to class members who pay their dues before May 12, 2003.

To learn more, visit the Dues page.

We still need your help.
All class of 1998 members are invited to join the Class of '98 Reunion Committee. There will be periodic meetings between now and May 2003. Also, there are subcommittees that need help as well. Just let Gina know of you're interested. You can join one or more of the following:

Reunion Committee
Help wth all aspects of the planning of reunion weekend. Brainstorming ideas for events, serving as a support for the reunion chair, helping the subcommittees as necessary.

Hospitality Subcommittee
This committee would be in charge of the hospitality suite during reunion weekend. This would involve making signs and decorating the room and keeping memebr of teh class informed about what is going on throughout the weekend.

Class Book Subcommittee
This committee is in charge of putting a book together to be handed out during reunion. This book is about the Class of 1998 so the committee can be as creative with it as they like.

Fundraising Subcommittee
This committee is in charge of raising money for our class event. We have some ideas and welcome more.

Marketing Subcommittee
This committee is in charge of getting the word out to memebers of our class through mailings, phone calling, web updates, etc.
