Halloween 8 Written by Eric Shoemaker FLASHBACK TO END OF HALLOWEEN:H20 Laurie Strode looks at Michael, who is stuck between a log, and a truck. Laurie: Michael! Michael grabs his face, then looks at Laurie. Laurie: Michael! Michael puts out his hand to Laurie. Laurie touches, then swings the ax she has been holding, and slices Michael’s head off of his shoulders. Sirens can be heard coming to the scene. Laurie runs off in to the woods, but while she is running off into the woods, Camera closes in on the head that has just be cut off of Myer`s body, then all of a sudden a hand reaches down and grabs the mask of the head, who reveals it to be Dr. Wynn. EXT. ROAD ABOVE THE HILL A van pulls up, and a man in the man in black costume comes out and says, Man: Michael get in here we will worry about her later. Michael gets in the van, and it leaves. Credits roll Haddonfield, Illinois October 30, 2001 INT. BUILDING PRESS CONFERENCE BEING HELD. Mayor: We have to do something now tomorrow is Halloween, how do we know he won’t show up. A lady: Mayor we have phone call waiting for you. Mayor: Excuse me everyone. Int. Mayor’s office. Mayor: Hello. INT. PHONE BOOTH. Laurie Strode: Help me Mayor please, he is coming after me. Mayor: Who is coming after you, and who is this. Laurie Strode: This is Laurie Strode. Mayor looks shocked. Mayor: You are supposed to be dead. Laurie: I know I faked my death, so that Michael would leave me alone, Mayor please help me he is coming. Mayor: Michael is coming for you. Laurie: Yes. Mayor: Where are you? Laurie: I’m at… INT.PHONE BOOTH. Laurie sees a figure reflecting off of a piece of glass of the phone booth. The figure is the Shape. Halloween theme starts. Laurie: Help me please. Mayor: Where are you!!! Laurie: Please Michael don’t kill me. Camera looks at Michael Michael looks at Laurie, then raises a huge butcher knife, and is about to put it into Laurie, until Laurie grabs pepper spray, and sprays his eyes. Then she runs off into a building, Michael starts to follow her. INT. ABANDON APARTMENT BUILDING. Laurie is running trying to open up doors, which are locked, then she opens a door, but while she is closing door, the Shape sees the door shut. INT. EMPTY ROOM. Laurie goes over to the window, and tries to open it, but it won`t open. Laurie: Shit! Laurie then sees a fire extinguisher on the wall, she grabs it off the wall, then throws it threw the window, but before she can get the Shape comes up behind her, then grabs her head, and slams it off the wall, then grabs her head again, and he sees a piece of glass still on the window, and then slams her head off the glass. Laurie: Michael please stop. Michael doesn`t pay any attention to her, and then raises his knife he had before, and puts it through Laurie’s head. Then she falls down, and dies. Then the same person who told Michael before that we will get her later shows up, and tells him: Man: Michael it is over, we need to get your son. Camera goes through a street in Haddonfield HADDONFIELD, ILLINOIS OCTOBER 31, 2001 HADDONFIELD Camera stopping when it gets to the Myers house. It is dark, and kids walk by it throwing rocks through the windows. Cameras flashes to INT. APARTMENT BUILDING Camera shows a girl dressing a young boy, the girl is Kara Strode, and the boy is Steven, Michael Myers son. Kara Strode`s son Danny comes running up to his mother. Danny: Mommy, can we go to the party tonight? Kara: No, Danny! Danny: Why, Mommy! Kara: Danny you know why. Danny: I hate my life. Kara: Danny! Danny: I’m sorry. Camera to the bedroom where it someone is still sleeping. Kara walks in, and sits on the bed. Then something grabs her, and pulls her down. It is Tommy Doyle. Tommy: Hey hunny. Kara: Hey sweetie. Tommy: You know what today is. Kara: Yes, I know. Danny wants to go to the party. Tommy: And you said. Kara: No! Tommy: Kara let him and Steven go. Kara: Tommy, No! you know why I`m not letting them. Tommy: Kara, listen there will be many people there, no one will try to take them, we can go, and watch them if you like. Kara: Fine Tommy, I will let them go, but we are going to watch them every second. The phone starts to ring. Camera flashes to the phone. Tommy goes over and picks up the phone. Tommy: Hello. INT. HADDONFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT. Sheriff: Is this Tommy Doyle? Tommy: Yes, who is this? Sheriff: Tommy, this is Sheriff Loomis. Tommy: What is the wrong Sheriff? Sheriff: The body of Laurie Strode was found today, near Haddonfield. Tommy: I thought she was dead. Sheriff: So didn’t everybody else, it seems she faked her death, but Myers or somebody found out and killed her. Tommy: What should I do? Sheriff: Watch your family. Tommy: I will, thanks for calling. Sheriff: You welcome. Tommy hangs up the phone, and Kara walks into the room. Kara: Who was that? Tommy: Sheriff Loomis, it seems that they found Laurie Strode’s body today. Kara: I thought she was already dead. Tommy: It seems that she faked her death. Kara: No!, please tell me he is not still alive. Tommy: I don’t know if is he is or not. INT. POLICE STATION. Sheriff Loomis is in his office looking over papers about Michael Myers. His secretary, named Amy walks in. Amy: Sheriff , we have the Myers house guarded with 16 police officers. Sheriff Loomis: Thanks Amy, could you get me Tommy Doyle on the phone, and tell him I would like to meet with him. Amy: Yes sir. Amy leaves the Sheriff’s office. Loomis looks at one of the papers on his desk. INT. TOMMY DOYLE'S CAR The car is stopped at a red light, and a figure is watching him closely. Tommy receives a phone call on his cellar from Amy. Tommy: Hello. Amy: Hello, this Amy Brackets, secretary of Sheriff Loomis, the sheriff would like to meet with you in his office. Tommy: I will be there in a couple of minutes. Amy: He will be waiting. Goodbye. Tommy: Goodbye. INT. SHERIFF'S OFFICE Tommy is taken by Amy. Tommy: You wanted to see me Sheriff. Sheriff: Yes, Tommy I need to talk with you about something. Tommy: Steven right. Sheriff: Yes, as you know he is Michael’s son, and I have reason to believe that Michael will be coming after him tonight. Tommy: Let me guess why, so that he can be a sacrifice, right. Sheriff: Yes, that is correct. He needs him to pass on the curse to someone els Tommy: I know that. Sheriff: I have sent 16 men to the Myer’s house. Tommy: I don’t think he will be going back there. Sheriff: Why not? Tommy: Because he is expecting us to outsmart him, but he will outsmart us, by not going there. Sheriff: What should we do? Tommy: Keep everyone safe. EXT. STREET Kara is walking with Steven, and Danny to take them to the bus stop. They arrive, and Kara kisses them goodbye, they get on the bus, and leave. While Kara is watching the bus leave, the person who told Myers to leave his sister, is watching her. INT. POLICE STATION Police officer’s are checking the place to see if anyone is there. In the room where Michael, and Danny used to occupy, a police officer finds a body. Officer 1: Who the hell is this, Roberts get the Sheriff on the phone, and tell him to get over here. INT. POLICE STATION Loomis picks up the phone. Loomis: Hello. Roberts: Sheriff you better get over here. Loomis: Why, did you find something. Roberts: We found a body. Loomis: Whose? Roberts: I think you should see for yourself. INT. MYERS HOUSE Roberts meets Loomis when he arrives. Loomis: Where is this body you wanted me to see. Roberts: I will show you. Roberts takes Loomis to the room, and finds the body of his father Sam Loomis, on the bed. Loomis: Who the hell put this here. Roberts: We are still trying to find out who put your father’s body here. Loomis: Get me Tommy Doyle on the phone somebody. INT. HADDONFIELD COLLEGE. Tommy is taking notes, when his cellar phone goes off. His teacher takes notice. Teacher: Mr. Doyle, I’m trying to teach a class here. Tommy: I’m sorry. Teacher: Please take your call outside. Tommy gets up and leaves the class. INT SCHOOL HALLWAY Tommy answers the phone. Tommy: Hello. Loomis: Hello, Tommy Doyle. Tommy looks surprised that he called. Tommy: Sheriff why did you call me. Loomis: Tommy, I went to the Myers’ house to find the body of my father, and guess which room he was in. Tommy looks woried. Tommy: Michael’s Loomis: I think he has come home. Tommy: That was Danny’s room too, he is going to try, and give Danny the curse. Sheriff: Where is Danny? Tommy: School. INT. HADDONFIELD SCHOOL Danny is taking notes. Teacher: Danny, your father is here to take you home. Danny gets his stuff , and goes to the office, the man is black is waiting, with ordinary clothes on, but we can’t see him. The man in black talks to Danny, and he makes it so we can’t figure out who it is. Man In Black: Danny I was sent here by your mother to get you, there has been a problem with your brother. Danny: What is wrong with Steven? Man In Black: He is very sick. I will be taking you to the hospital. Danny: Ok. Danny leaves with the Man In Black. INT. SHERIFF'S CAR Tommy: Sheriff drive faster. Loomis: Tommy I’m going as fast as I can. INT. HADDONFIELD SCHOOL They arrive at the school, and go to the office, where they talk to the secretary. Secretary: He was picked up by his father a couple minutes ago. Tommy: I’m his father. Secretary: Oh no, I’m sorry, I didn’t know. Tommy looks at the sheriff. Tommy: Where can he be? Sheriff: Call your wife, and tell her to get Steven from Nursery School, and go to the police station. We will be waiting for her. Tommy calls Kara on his Cell Phone. Kara: Hello. Tommy: Kara, get Steven, and go to the police station. Kara: Why, Tommy? Tommy: Just do it, I will tell you why when you get there. INT. NURSEY SCHOOL Kara goes in, and comes with Steve. The Shape is watching them as they go in Kara’s car, and drive off. INT.POLICE STATION. Kara goes in the Sheriff’s office with Steven. Tommy, and Loomis are sitting in down in a chair. Kara: What is wrong Tommy? Tommy: Someone has Danny. Kara: Oh my god! Who? Loomis: I have an idea. INT. SMITH'S GROVE. We see Danny getting talked to by the man in black who. We can’t here them. EXT. SMITH'S GROVE Outside, we see Kara, Loomis, and Tommy pull up in the Sheriff’s car. They get out, and go inside, to find an empty hallway. Cut to INT EMPTY HALLWAY. They go in to find nothing in the hallway. Cut to Int. Camera Room. There are about 10 people in there, one is the Man In Black, and the other 9 are druids. Man In Black: It seems are guest have arrived. Get Michael, and get him to meet them, but don’t let him kill them, bring them back to me in the secret. Room. Camera shows Tommy, Kara, and Loomis on the tv screen walking down a hall. Cut to INT. HALL. They are walking, when out of nowhere Michael dashes out at them. Druids come out of a room. Druid 1: Michael, don’t kill them, we need them for the sacrifice. The druids then surround everyone, and make the 3 move down the hallway, and into a room. Cut to INT ROOM.. Druid 1: We are almost there. Druid 1 opens a door inside the room to reveal a stairwell. Cut to Everyone Walking Down The Stairwell Into A Room They all walk down, to reveal a operating table, Danny, and the Man In Black waiting for them. Man In Black: Welcome, tonight Michael’s curse will be over, and will be passed on to another. He turns to Kara. Man In Black: To your son, Danny. Kara shrieks back in fear. Kara: No! All of a sudden a door opens up behind the Man In Black, revealing it to be Amy Brackets, and Steven. Steven tries to run up to Kara, and Tommy, but Amy grabs him. Steven: Mommy, Daddy. Kara: It will be ok Steven. Kara looks at Amy. Kara: Why did you do this to me, I trusted you. Amy: Because, Michael killed my father, and I knew I couldn’t kill Michael, so I joined them. Man In Black goes over to Steven, and picks him up, and places him on the operating table, and straps him down. Man In Black: Now, I know you want to know who I am. He turns to Sheriff Loomis. Man In Black : Now is the time for you to find out. Man In Black: Now is the time for you to find out. The Man In Black takes off his hat, then his mask to reveal Jimmy from Halloween 2. Tommy: Jimmy, former husband of Laurie Strode. Why did you have Laurie killed, she was your wife, didn’t you care about her. Jimmy: Tommy, there are so many reasons why, she was a whore, who slept with any guy she could, while I worked all day trying earn a living, and keep her away from Michael. When she finally got a job, she started sleeping around with all the male teachers. Now you may ask why I became the Man In Black, it is an easy question, you see when I was an ambulance driver, I met Dr.Wynn when I had to drive some of the insane to here, and one day he told me all about how Michael was Laurie’s sister, and how she had to die, and I came up with a plan to make her life a living hell until Michael would be strong enough for that one night to come and kill her. After 20 years, he finally came. Dr. Wynn also came. My son who I was sorry to have, because he didn’t want to come, and live me, No, he wanted to live with his mother, so I told Wynn to kill him too. He was unsuccessful. After that night, he disappeared just like his mother did, but we found his mother, but we still don’t know where he is, but we will find him. That is are story. Tommy: You are sick. LOOMIS It says that Jamie was Michael’s child, and that Laurie was taken the night of the fire in 1978. Michael had taken test to have children, and sperm was taken from him, and given to Laurie. She was to drugged to know what was going on, until she had Jamie, then she faked her death with my father’s help. She went to California to escape being attacked by Michael again, but she would be haunted by him until her death. As you know Michael killed Jamie before she could know that he was her father, and not her Uncle. CUT TO: AN AMAZED TOMMY TOMMY Did your father know this? CUT TO: LOOMIS I’m not sure. After I finished reading this paper, a man came into my office, and said soon, and put a bunch of papers on my desk, and left. I read through some of them, and they talked about the Thorn, and how there is a way of destroying it, but Michael will still, because that is all he knows, and the only way to destroy the Thorn is to kill Jimmy. I read some other papers, and they said that when Michael was really little his parents would keep taking him to see Wynn, Wynn kept telling them that if he didn’t they would be next. It told about how Wynn would kill anyone that found out about him trying to make people evil, he killed his own mother, because she wouldn’t let him try to do some evil techniques on her.
