I give Halloween 2 a 7.5 out of 10.
There really was no need for a sequel. I could only come up with one reason why, and that is why is Michael Myers trying to kill Laurie Strode? It is answered in this sequel, and it fixes some problems from the first film, but destroys the ending of Halloween 1 (if you have seen both movies you will know why), the ending was good in this movie, but hurts the other sequels, when Michael gets his eyes shot, how can he see in the other sequels? This is my third favorite sequel out of the series. It has its moments, but it just isn't as entertaining as the first orginal, maybe a different sequel caused the problem, John Carpenter directed the first movie, and Rick Rosenthal directed this one. |
