Ian, or "Wingco" Tully is an Officious Aide De Camp to a Group Captain during World War II. Or, it has been said, he might be a liason officer, since Wing Commander, his rank, is the same as a Lt. Colonel in the Army! Amazing. He is pretty anal retentive, and very uptight, but we love him anyway, even when he acts like a complete jerk. He was a flop with women in the movie, but he had plenty of ego, and that made up for it, I suppose!
