According to Mysti (tee hee) this was a publicity photo for Simon. (I had pictured him with a Snidely Whiplash mustache, though)

Simon is a Land Agent , but mostly he had a need to prove himself to his father (who apparently liked Simon's brother best) before he died. After his father's death, Simon still felt the need to succeed at all costs. I don't think Simon was a BAD guy, although people in Britain may contradict me, but more....self absorbed. He also didn't seem to take rejection well, and had a tendency to lash out at women when his relationships went sour.

Although pictures are scarce (it is, after all, a *radio* program!), links are not.
