Another you have to know. This series is based on Nostradamas' predictions of a "Twice Blessed Man" who was going to save the world. From, it turns out, an Alien race called the Gua. (Yeah, that's what I said! Gua?) Well, when TTBM was a kid, one of the Aliens FOUND him, but he got away and was able to grow up to give them a headache.
My problem with this show is the child abuse . . . he is only 12! So I am not at all sympathetic to this SIM. Nice as he may look.
Oh dear, so far I have a Canadian copy - it was shown there but will not be shown till this month in the US. I will get a first gen copy then. But it is hard to watch. The subject matter makes it so. I give it a 7 for being interesting, but have to take points off for torturing a child.
That goes for character, too, though I guess I might take more points off and say 5. I really didn't like the guy. The 5 is for the long hair!
For one thing, there is Jim Byrnes - one of the reason I gave the show a higher rating than the character. But he's not the best guy either - or we don't really know everything he is planning, anyway. The other familiar face is Traci Lords, who was in HIghlander, and just about everything else as well. MY problem is that I want to slap those puffy lips as she oh so carefully says each word. Ick. sorry! All that said, I do find the show interesting and have started watching since I got my preview of the series. Go figure.
