Bertie wav

Okay, here he is! This is a screen capture from the now-famous Stella Artois commercial. Vicky named him Bertie, and we welcomed him with open . . . arms! The Commercial is about a young man, caughtin the rain, who goes into what turns out to be a Biker Bar. His glasses are fogged so he doesn't see where he's turned up until he cleans and puts them back on. Then he knows he's in trouble. But what's this? The bartender's put down a Stella! Boldly our Hero goes and drinks it down, even though the one it is intended for is about 7 feet tall and all muscle . . . Ugly, too. But Bertie has a good come back line, he is saved . . . and he might even get the girl!!

Our Bertie speaks both Dutch and English, and he is quite intellegent. At SIMs City he is the accountant responsible for keeping the books -- especially for establishments with liquor!!

There was some talk of putting the commercial (which is 24 seconds long) on an .avi file, but I haven't gotten word on it yet. Please email me if you know the URL. The wav is found above, thanks to Rienna!

For viewability, I give it a 9 . I have a lovely copy that came right from the people who made the commercial, and it is an interesting shade of green. <G> Bertie is delightful to look at!

For character, I give this one a 9 as well - you can tell so much from a short commerical, the way our Peter does it!
