This is Bronze Age Methos, from "Comes A Horseman" and "Revelations 6:8" This was when Methos was having an "angry adolescence". Of course, the Modern Methos seems rather embarrassed about this phase in his life, but most fans love these two episodes. It is great to think of Methos being one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse!
