Mark Mason |
The Man Who Used to Be Me |

Mark Mason and Dwight Borden were touted as being the same man - but then we got a look at the cute little glasses! Sorry, they really got to me. I don't see them the same at all - Mason is head of a project and he wants his team to work hard so they will get Government funding. When a man goes back into the past, using their machine, he wants him to stay there - so they will forward their research. Okay, so he is told it might be dangerous to the subject's health, but hell, the guy had a chance to return to the present (future, to us), and he didn't take it! After deleting files so they can't (he hopes) bring the man back, he almost gets caught, and from that point on we see him slowly lose his cool. He goes from a guy in a suit to no jacket, no tie, and the shirt opening . . . It's fun.
I've got this from the TV, so the picture is wonderful. There isn't enough Mason in it, but there never is. For viewability, I give it an 8.
For character, I give this one a 7. Gotta give points for the glasses.
Well, there is Rob Estes and William Devane - and Laurie Holden, who people will remember from X Files (Marita Covarrubias) and Highlander (Debra Campbell).
