The Concoctonation Station (Chemistry Set)
SIMformation Home > Information > The chemistry set
This item is available in the Livin' Large Expansion. It increases logic as well as providing a variety of fun potions for your Sims to drink. The more unusual potions such as yellow and purple, seem to appear more frequently with the more logic points your Sim has.

The colours of the potions...

Blue: will randomly fill a couple of your Sim's need meters.

Yellow: will permanently reverse your Sim's personality. So your neat, active Sim will become a messy, sloth!

White: will cure your Sim's illness.

Purple: turns your Sim into a monster that you cannot control for a short period of time. It will break many of your household items.

Light Green: drains all (except room) of your Sim's need meters.

Red: causes your Sim to fall madly in love with another in the neighbourhood.

Green: creates a clone of your Sim that usually causes a little bit of trouble, then leaves.

Orange: turns your Sim "invisible" which means that other Sims cannot interact with him/her.

Create the "Perfect Sim"

When creating your Sim, give him/her no personality points at all. Then, once you've started playing, give your Sim the Chemistry Set and start 'em brewing potions. Once they have brewed a yellow potion, have them drink it which will reverse their personality. They will then have full personality points in every category thus making them the "perfect Sim".

Don't want a potion?

Go into Buy Mode and sell the Chemistry Set. Then buy another. You will lose a little money this way but it's worth it. Or, invite a friend over and make sure there there is no food available for them. Most times they will drink the potion themselves.
