January 2007:
Our sons' cousins here in Norway.
February 2007:
After a dark and wet December with no snow we finally got real Norwegian winter in february.
March 2007:
King Harald of Norway turned 70 February 21st.
He got this magnificent ice sculpture labyrinth placed outside his castle as a gift from the Norwegian people.
April 2007:
Maundy Thursday is a holyday in Norway, but a normal working day in Sweden.
So lots of Norwegians go to Sweden to shop this day.
Most foodstuff is considerably cheaper in Sweden than in Norway.
We teamed up with the Jemtegaards and took the trip to Töcksfors.
On the way back we stopped at this memorial at Fossum Bridge,
where Norwegian patriots fought with German troops in April 1940.
December 2007:
After a few weeks of -10 deg. C (15 F)
our garden looked like this.
