Follow instructions below to install:
Please read the installation instructions carefully. To make your Sim use this elevator, you need to click on the floor above or beyond and deprive them of stairs. To install the elevator you need 3 parts: The elevator(Doors) which you will find under Build/Stairs, the side & back-under Buy-Misc/general.
Make 2 parallel sets of walls, 2 tiles in length, one exactly on top of the other. Close it off with a wall at each end and in the middle.

Place the elevator doors inside the rectangle against the middle wall. Remove all the walls. Place an elevator side on each side of the doors, both up and downstairs. Place the elevator back against the two sides to make the cage on both floors. If your Sim want to operate it from a wrong angle, build the sides and back on the opposite side of the doors.
