Hi all! I know it's been a LONG time since I've updated, but I do have an excuse. In September of 2003 my house became a victim of hurricaine Isabel. The past months have been spent re-constructing most of our master bedroom and bath, plus getting a new roof, gutters and siding. We has a huge tulip poplar crash through our roof and a huge pine across the drive. Luckily I had moved our cars. We were without power or water for over a week. So instead of playing at decorating in the sims, I've been doing it for real! It's almost finished, but we still have a bit to go. Maybe I'll post some pictures when it's done. Thanks all for your continued support of my work ~ Simdoodler

OK, after recieving a notice from Geocities that I haven't updated in over a month (what, now a month only has 22 days? News to me!) I am going to add the elevators today. I haven't done html & zipping for ages so don't expect miracles. You'll have to keep coming back as my bandwith won't handle too much traffic. You have my permission to share, but as usual if you want to work on these files you will have to e-mail me for permission. The elevators are on PAGE 5. Good luck!

Notice of future update: 4 March, 2003

Still have the renovate and remodel bug, I guess that was what I was really doing when I was simming anyway-decorating, lol! Any way as soon as I get the chance to refresh my html I will be posting the elevators at this site. I am NOT going to pay for a higher bandwith so it will probably be down often. Simsnobs will still have them available for a time, but they may need the bandwith for newer things. Hopefully within the next month or so you will hear from me again. I will send an e-mail to all who have previously asked and announce it on N99. Please don't send me e-mail now my box is almost full. Thanks and happy simming

Another note: 27 September, 2002

Summer is over and Mom is still busy! I've only touched the game once. The endless round of "'back-to-school" nites have finally ended. I finshed painting my kitchen cabinets, and helping my eldest repaint her room. But there's still alot more to do. I seem to have lost my Sim Muse and have a Home Improvement bug instead! I will keep the site going, and probably add the elevators at some point. But for now it seems that many other talented people are doing things far more exciting than I can, so I've decided to take a break. I still answer my mail, and love hearing from all the wonderful and diverse people I've met simming, so don't forget me!

Just a note: 7 June, 2002

Sorry I've been so lax in my updates. Real life just isn't giving me any time to myself. I am working on a few things, but object making can take up to a month of 7 hour days, and my kids seem to need me more right now. With Summer coming and everyone home fighting for computer time, I can't see it getting any better. So, I promise to plug away at the things I've got in the works, and try to have fun and play the game every once in awhile! ~Cherahnna~

WOW!!! My Brass Elevator posted at SimSnobs has won the Sim Finder Award!! This is my first award. Thanks to all of you that voted for me.....things like this make it all worthwhile. Click below to go there.

I'm also going to post a tutorial on page 4. It's just a bit of help beyond the normal tutorial, and I'm including a simple tool. Alot of the links don't work, mostly because the sites are down, but I am updating them as I find them.

Updated 18 February, 2002

Hi all. Sorry about the lack of updates, but when I create I seem to have NO time for the site, and RL has been interfeing in everything (congrats to my 16 year old daughter, she got her license, and it wasn't as bad as I thought!) By now you have heard I am featured at SimSnobs as an artist. My newest items are there. Unfortunately Latricia has had to make SimSnobs a pay site after recieving a bill for over $1200 in excessive bandwith fees! I guess you LIKED the elevators! AND Cindy's and Latricia's wonderful stuff too! Anyway, I continue to try to find an answer to the bandwith dilema. But none seems to be acceptable. (Please don't tell me about Mellie's offer on N99, been through enough with her) Personally I would rather stay here and free, but as I haven't updated in months and you still keep coming, and I'm still being closed down almost daily, I don't think that's a workable solution for any of us. I've had over 12,500 visitors since I opened!! Anyway, RL calls again. I will try to get back with a freebie, and update all my broken Sims resource links ASAP. Happy simming to all.

Updated 05 November, 2001

Well at least I have an excuse this time......After a series of unrelated illnesses (stomach bug for the whole family, allergies{don't get me started on THAT-I'm allergic to everything}& sinus infections) I had to have my gallbladder out last friday, so even tho on the road to recovery, the updates will be even slower in coming. After mentioning a few of my ideas here and in forums, I was unpleasantly surprised to see that others had beat me to it. I know about the early bird and all....but needless to say after research and begining to make something...I was a bit bummed. Therefor I plan to be very closed mouthed in the future. When I do update, it will be a surprise. And because geocities is being such a &*^%# about bandwith ( I've had several notices) I probably will update at Simsnobs. Latricia is such a great lady, and a good friend.

That's all for awhile,

Simhugs,

Cherahnna

Sorry for the lack of updates, this one is as usual verbal, but at least I've got my thinking cap on! I will sim again! After beta-testing the invisable floor for Caro at Caro's SimKagen www.caro.jp/ I realized that alot of the work for my conservatory has vanished - yeah! And that got me on another tangent...some thoughts about a community effort making a sort of "Sim Clue" theme(Did Colonel MustardSim kill Miss ScarletSim in the conservatory with a rope?) I've consulted Latricia from Simsnobs. Then I SCream Cone at SimsInc http://www.simsinc.thesimsresource.com/objects/sets/deathset/deathset1.html for ways to kill your sim. But I'm not sure we actually have to kill them in the game, perhaps just make some dead body objects? Anyway, let me know what y'all think. At least the creative juices are stirring again, right?

9/11/01 message

"There but for the Grace of God go I."

Please join me in my prayers to all my fellow Americans. We are a Country in shock. Even though this tragedy has not touched any of my friends or family, the loss is felt by all.

I'm not sure when or if I will Sim again. I seem incapable of all but the most mundane tasks. The light of the sicle moon was shining in my eyes last night, bright as a beacon, and I awoke scared. We in America have led a charmed life. Make no mistake, we knew it was charmed, but we took it for granted, and mourn it's loss.

****Peace & Love to All****

Biography?

This is just a simple page of my objects, no glitz no glamor, at least for now! The background is an adaptation of M.C. Escher's lizards, 'cause I love his work, and green since it's my favorite color. I'll add more to this site as I can. Maybe even a header/logo, and dare I say toolbar, and options menu! Hmmmnn.....seems doubtful, but I'll try. I'm a busy mother of 3, ranging from 15 to 5, so my time to "play" is limited. I'm also new to HTML, my 15 yr. old daughter is far more talented than I. My background is in art, so I am far more interested in the graphics than the language. But MOM can't be a woosie (oops! I am informed it is spelled wussy.....hmmmnn) and use a wysiwyg editor! I'd be disowned! Bah Humbug! Wrapped around their little fingers aren't I!?

Many of you will know me as a guest artist at SMN/Simsnobs http://www.simsnobs.com/Note the newest link- Latricia had been running out of space before the new site, so she suggested I branch out on my own. My garden windows, and other victorian windows are still posted there. I may or may not keep at this site over the summer break, but whatever happens it will be posted at simsnobs. Be sure to check out her site if you haven't already done so! I am working on a clawfoot tub shower combo at the moment, however this is alot more complicated than my previous stuff, so it may take awhile! I am still keeping in mind the matching doors to the screenporches.

UPDATE

My daughter has a big project due for school, so I doubt I'll get onto the laptop while we are on vacay 'till 3rd week in August. I WILL be checking my mail tho. I promise to get my nose back on the grindstone after all the kids get in school! I was thinking of making a conservatory window set along the lines of the greenhouse window, leaving the roof off/transparent somehow....that should keep me awake at nights during vacay don't ya think!? I am still working on the tubs(yes plural), and the doors.....just haven't been able to get them up to my standards of perfection......ie. too much yellow around the gingerbread on the doors, and my simmies are NOT alowed to bathe on TOP of the water, LOL! Don't worry I'll figure it out! Perhaps I'll open an upcoming page to see if you like what's in the works. Let me know!

I found a great link with some knotty pine screen windows and a door http:///moonsims.asi.org/simlove/ Go take a look. Also Victoria at Simmington Square has done a new house using my windows, so take a look! http://www.simmingtonsquare.com She is so talented with houses, much nicer than my humble attempts!

I've been linked at EmberLeFey's Sammy Simsurfer site http://www.thesimsurfer.com/ This is a great site to find new links, and I'm honored to be noticed there.

Woo Hoo, I've had over 2500 visitors! Hope y'all have enjoyed. I had a request for my houses, so I'm gonna post another page with the 2 houses I consider best. I'll also include the files posted at Simsnobs. These will all be on page 3

Just wanted to add some link buttons to my favorite places to be.....even tho I haven't been able to chat 'cause of vacay and the kids for a bit. These are the nicest bunch of simmers around......no offense to anyone else tho, I think most all simmers are nice! LOL!
