| A BLESSING OR A BURDEN? | |||||||
| Sabbath... A day of resting. A day of blessing. Set apart by our Father to remember the creation as well as the Creator. Set apart by our Father to remember our slavery and our Redeemer. A day of liberation for man and beast. An appointed time, one of the Moedim, a Feast. To those who cling to and call the Sabbath "set apart", "a delight" and "an honor", They shall delight themselves in YAHUAH and He shall cause them to ride on the heights of the earth and feed them with the inheritance of Yacov their father. A sign throughout all our enerations that we are to be set apart, precious and HIS. At least according to the scriptures, this is what YAHUAH says. Some call it a burdern, a hardship, old, just for the Jews. All the while, full of hypocrisy, creating their own holy days and their own feasts, sitting self righteously in their pews. A burden to accept such a gift from the Father and to sit and reflect on the wonder of His ways? A hardship to STOP? TO turn away from our own tasks on this so special of days? What kind of spirit sees this as a wicked gift given by the Father, too hard and unfair? It is the spirit of rebellion who hates submission and who loves lies and murder. What are you going to do when the soldiers come knocking at your door asking who your master is? Will you prove once and for all, as you do each and every week, that you were NEVER His? |
