| In case anyone is interested, 99% of all the ideas and textures are from the various versions of Tomb Raider. Mostly Tomb Raider 1, 4 and 5 (Chronicles). Obviously they had to be edited and adapted to fit with Sims proportions. Some notes on using the wallpapers and floors: Most wallpapers and floors tile in all directions so check to see which themes can be used on both floors to create a continuous flow. Some wallpapers are mostly interior and some exterior so check to see which can be used in conjunction. For example, use the Classic Temple or Dark Temple on the exterior, and Gold Temple or Egyptian Walls inside. Some wallpapers look better on building corners. There are usually "Panels", some blank or with a decal. These work very well for placing windows. Where ever possible, I try to stick to the Homecrafter wall specs but some like the Classic Temple or Dark Temple, have cornice details to give the impression of a temple. Placing windows and doors into these walls will look odd so the "Panel" wallpapers will frame them better. The floors in this theme have several variations. The "Old Floors" type have various "in ruin" floors. Place these at random to give the correct impression. The best is to flood the area with the sand type first and then place the others in corners or where you want them. Most of the sub themes have various sets and each set more than one wallpaper or floor. Two wallpapers of each set is shown. Below are the main sets in each sub theme. |
