| The
first thing to do is make sure you have plenty to do while
camping, though, the major problem will be maintaining comfort
levels.
Let's start with great activities you can do which wont
cost too much. The first is treasure hunting, it will cost
you about 90 simoleons to hire the metal detector but you
may make that up quickly by finding cash, or better still,
by finding a souvenir. Tom West found a treasure chest while
searching the camping site. One of the best activities is
the fishing. This is a family activity and while earning
fun points they also score social points.
However another great way to improve fun points is by hiring
a remote control boat, this will cost you 15 simoleons and
you have until your Sim wants to do something else or you
fill your fun bar. This is great value for money and if
more than one Sim is at the pond they gain social scores.
But all these activities plus the sleeping in the tent
all seriously reduce your comfort levels, to combat this
take some time out during the day to relax in some reclining
chairs.
To feed your sims you will need to have BBQs but don't
forget to have a picnic at some time, it will cost you 99
simoleons but it's a great family activity.
If you maintain a good mood through out your stay, find
some souvenirs and participate in some group activities,
like around the camp fire, then you might be in line for
a special award. In this case the West family won the Golden
Pinecone to take home.
I hope this gives you some ideas on how to have a great
camping holiday.
