Boy.. time flys when your having fun. It only seems like yesterday that young Billy France assembled that bunch of moonshiners into what was to become the greatest sport in America today. Well that was 50 years ago and the masters of the patch, Chas Bornemann and Jan Kohl have celebrated with the N@50 patch for N2. The patch features those big ol' Nascars of the 70's, some brand new tracks and some pretty big driving heroes from that era. Almost forgot.. you can download this masterpiece from the US Pits or Sim Cyberworld where you can even offline race these wonderful machines.

Darlington has always been the racer's nightmare, and in the old days,
this is when it's legend was born.  One tiny miscue, and you're sliding
along the rails, sparks flying, wishing you weren't contributing to the
hair-raising artwork all around the track...

Most people think you cannot go 3 wide at the sugarbowl that thinks
it's a racetrack, but then again, most people haven't driven against the
likes of Richard Petty, David Pearson, and Cale Yarborough.  If they
had, they might wonder what the limit really is....

Flying down the backstretch at the Court of Ontario, behind your adversary's
winged blue steed with the heraldric '43' emblazoned on the side leaves you
feeling if you WERE jousting at an ancient tournament.  However, this time
your opponent happens to be the King of the Realm....

The race of all races, the Southern 500.  To keep ahead of the pack at this
meeting of the best drivers in stock car racing, you must have your wits,
eyes, and strength with you in abundance.  When everything goes well,
and luck is on your side, you'll be sitting in Winner's Circle 500 miles from
now.  When it doesn't, you're just another name on a sheet of paper...
