Only the Southern half of the Kingdom of Ribenheim has been tamed. Much of the Northern half is consumed by rolling hills and forests, leading up to the Wastelands (Terra Incognita). The Mountain Pass that leads into the Wastelands is guarded by Finnigans Keep, protecting the only way into Ribenheim from the North.

To the East lays the Elven Kingdom of Silvandore. Its Forests are both majestic and deadly, the Elves killing all intruders. Not much is known about the terrain of Silvandore beyond its border area with Ribenheim. Kessels Back, a mountain range, provides a natural barrier between the Elves and the Lesser Kingdoms.

Southern Ribenheim has lakes, forests, hills and plains and is where the builk of the citizens live. Ribenheim, the Capital City, is situated on an Island in the River of Gold. The river itself originates in the mountains near Finigans Keep and travels steadily southwards, joining the Sea at the border with Karnia.

The Island City is large and grandose, walls protect the inhabitants and a large Castle provides protection in times of War. The plains surrounding the city are full of farms, the breadbasket of the country.

Merchants Road moves South from the City towards the Lesser Kingdoms, which is its ultimate destination. Most towns and villages along its way are large and prosperous.

The Kings Road moves North from the City, towards Finigans Keep and the wilds of Ribenheim. Here, towns become few and far between the further from Ribenheim you get. Bandits often waylay travelers and Merchants on this road.

Soldiers Road was named so because it heads East from the City, towards Baileys Keep on the Elven border. The road was constructed by Soldiers to provide them a quick way to get to the border. Villages and towns are moderate along this road, with most families being involved in the Military in one way or another.
