Inquiries of Hopelessness
Where do you go
when the wind blows
and no ones there
no promises
no assurances
nothing to reach for
you sit
and hug your knees
waiting for it all to end
for someone to come
or for death to take you
what do you do
when sorrow takes you
and life seems dim
when all the wind holds
is empty air
tears run down your face
quietly you cry
the heart wrenching loneliness
perpetuates your entire being
what's to come
when you see nothing for you
and no where to run
no one to hold you
no one to care
what's to be done
when you have everything to lose
and nothing to gain
no reason to live
and every to die
