Moon Magick

Moon cycles can be very important when you are casting a spell or saying a prayer. Depending on the cycle the moon is in, it can either bring things to you or push them away. So say you are casting a spell to bring you good luck, and you do it when the moon is in its waning cycle, you will end up pushing the good luck away.

Waning - Decreases          Waxing - Increases

Many people believe that it is best to cast a spell during a full or new moon as it is most powerful then. I feel that when you first start out, you don't have to stick so rigidly to following lunar cycles. But as you gain more experience, you can incorporate them into your magick.
