Goku was sent to earth as a baby to destroy the planet. But he hits his head as a baby and forgot everything he was supposed to do. Instead he becomes a pure good person who protects the planet earth and the universe from evil. But he has been known to be soft sometimes. He is able to transform into all the SSJ transformations. Goku also killed nearly every main enemy the z fighters faced. He has a great relationship with his son Gohan.He is the husband of chi chi,daughter of the Ox king and they also had another son named Goten who Goku meets later due to him being dead at the time. One thing about Goku and Chi Chi is that Chi Chi wants Gohan to study while Goku wants Gohan to fight. Goku, who fears his wife,usually finds a way to compromise with his wife. Finally, Goku has always been known as the hero, always there to save the day when no one else can.
The son of Goku, gohan also has tremendous fighting ability. He is Goku's first son and was trained by piccolo right after the battle with radditz.Piccolo was also the first person to realize Gohans great hidden power, that he can only use when he is in trouble. Despite that, Gohan is still one of the most powerful fighters in the dragonball series.He could have been the most powerful fighter throughout the series but then he starts studying more rather than fighting. When he became a teenager, he became a super hero called "The Great Saiyaman" that was also when he met his wife Videl. They both have a daughter named Pan later in DBZ.
Goten is the second son of Goku and Chi Chi. He is good friends with trunks. Goten became the only saiyan ever to become SSJ without expirencing anger. He had a lot of potential but could never reach it since he spends more time fooling around with trunks and that he was living in a more peaceful time.He looks exactly like Goku when he was young in Dragonball.
The prince of the saiyen planet Vegeta, he is one of the most powerful fighters in the dragonball series. At first he was one of freeza's henchmen when he was a very young boy. He came to planet earth so he can use the dragonballs and wish for immortality. But the z fighters would not let him.Vegeta is the father of Trunks and Bra. When he meets the future version of his son, he is very disrespectful and treats him like garbage but soon he gains respect for Trunks when they trained. However, he has an obsession for getting more powerful than he really is. He was able to be more powerful than Goku several times, but Goku would always find ways to be one step ahead of Vegeta, that always made him angry.
Trunks is the son of Vegeta and Bulma.Trunks helps against Cell and became a very important fighter and nearly beat Cell, but his foolishness caused him to loose.He is one of the best fighters, and might be as strong as his father someday.
