The mighty Galactus granted Norrin Radd a porsion of his power cosmic and granted him an industructible surfboard, that is faster than any starship in the galaxy. Norrin Radd was nomore. He was reborn into The Silver Surfer!
Silver Surfer served Galactus very well. His job was to find planets for Galactus to eat. Galactus attemted to eat a planet known as "Earth." Than did the surfer realise compasion for life. Silver Surfer refused to help Galactus, and than attacked him. His job was to preserve life, just like he did on Zenn-La, by sacrificing himself.
Silver Surfer's power is nothing compared to Galactus', but with the help of the Fantastic Four, and the doomsday weapon known as the "Ultimate Nullifier," Galactus had no choice but to back down. Galactus barred the surfer on Earth for years, so Silver Surfer had to make a living after that.
