The Exotic and Wonderful City of Ta'Vaalor- In the Northern quarter of the city a visitor will find Amaranth Court, a lovely walk of fountains and terraces and home to the fabulous inn The Legendary Rest. The Legendary Rest has an excellent menu and even better table service. My personal preference is for the blackberry brandy, marinated rolton strips, and the apricot truffles for dessert. Be sure to thank the proprietor Roushchall and the Lady Colessta for the prompt service of their wonderful establishment. Ta'Vaalor is a city of elegance, it's very streets shine with marble, ivory, gold, and silver. Inlays of rare and expertly crafted woods abound and adorn the buildings of the City. As you walk down Victory Wey, you'll notice the gathering place of the great city; Victory Court. This is the place to gather for spells and the usual TSC events. Socialize and meet great new friends that will stand by you in this realm. A visitor will also notice that the City is built in a circle, a symbol of continuity, perfect for the Elven mind to contemplate while idly traversing it's beautiful streets and fashionable shops. The city is also a perfect place to find a keepsake or memento for a loved one or friend, bring home a hyacinth earring, or a feystone bracelet. The city is also home to many beautiful creatures, such as a silver-throated nightingales and a golden ferret. An Elven Bard also walks the streets, entertaining nobles with his expert renditions. To hear the Bard sing a duet with the nightingale was truely an honor. I believe the performer could sing flowers to speak. To honor the city, Lady Eleani Mhuire was also providing fabulous clothing designs in the Garden of the Ancients. For any who received an example of her work, it should be truly an honor. Lower in the Garden, held in reverence by vines of white jasmine, resides a shrine to the Lady Lorminstra, where one may receive deeds for demonstrating one's dedication. All of the city floats in a soft fog of peace and dreams, and I am honored to be allowed to say; "Welcome to Ta'Vaalor." ~Scribed this 22nd day of Olaesta in the year 5102 by the pen and hand of Lesorel Silverhaft, Elven Bard.
