The Kintobor and Brody Files by Moon Princess Intermission: Sam’s Memoir Hey, Sam here! I thought I’d let you know a little about me and my friends, also known as the Sailor Senshi. First of all, I’ll explain my life. I was born on the moon but was sent to Earth. John and Elizabeth Brody took me in. They had three kids, Taylor, Brandon, and Jessi. I never really knew Jessi because she was gone a lot. When I was in 6th grade, I tried out for chorus and decided I liked it. I guess my music career took off from there. I went to a new school with my cousins, Erika and Alex. There, I met Morgan and Alicia. We were all in chorus and had all of the same classes. Alicia’s sister, Melissa, took dance lessons, and we asked if her instructor would take four more. She said that her instructor would, and that was the beginning of our powerful friendship. Then, when I was about 14, that’s when we discovered that our friendship was set up. My mom, Elizabeth, was furious. She wanted us to be able to enjoy the rest of our childhood. One day, a man showed up at our doorstep. He claimed that he was my biological father and that I was a princess. He also said that I was a reincarnation of the original moon princess herself. My family and I were shocked, to say the least. He went on explaining how I was one of the princesses of the universe and how I had these unique abilities. I didn’t believe him until he had me focus on a picture on the wall. I did, and he said to call it in my mind. I thought it was weird, but I did it just to humor him. I was amazed when the picture disappeared in a blue aura from the wall and reappeared in my hands. He said that I could do several different attacks. The higher levels I went, the more attacks I could do. After that incident, I wanted to explore this sensation. Over time, I trained and gained more abilities, which made me stronger. Right before my first battle, I discovered that my friends had similar abilities. Our first battle was long and intense. We were up against 24 demonic beings. None of us had ever worked so hard in our lives. We continued to fight several demons at once until we were adults. That’s when it got a little easier and the number of demons started to decline in battles. Right before things got easier is when I met Snively in that dream. After that, all of the tension had been lifted from our shoulders. Two months later, I got to meet Snively again, but this time it was in person. I really didn’t want to leave, but when I’m called to the moon, I have to go, no matter what I want to do. I went back to Mobius two weeks later. That, believe it or not, was where I received my first kiss. Snively was actually my first crush, and he was the one who gave me my first kiss. I’m not sure how to describe it now, but at the time, it felt… magical. There were so many emotions running through my mind. All I could do was praise God for giving someone so wonderful. After awhile, Snively proposed, and I accepted it. Soon after, like 45 minutes, my dad told me that I had to go back to the moon and stay there. Sophia, my sister that I didn’t know I had until I was 15, overheard my dad and a guard discussing what had happened. What surprised me was that my dad said he didn’t approve of the proposal. After that, I fell into a depressed state. My dad invited princes from other planets to try and please me. All that did was make me angry and more depressed. About two weeks after that, I fell into a coma. I was in a coma for what everyone said was a month. It was really strange. I could hear everyone talking to me, but I couldn’t reply. Soon, I heard Sophia telling dad I’d wake up if I went to Mobius. He didn’t believe her, but when it happened, the look on his face showed how surprised he really was. When I woke up, I wasn’t entirely sure where I was. All I knew was that I was on Mobius. I know I felt a little overwhelmed at first, but after awhile, I felt much better. Especially when dad approved of Snively’s proposal! Then, on June 17th, we were finally married. It was the happiest day of my life. Well, that was before we had to make a trip to the infirmary. Snively had slipped on some frosting and crashed into the stage. He was unconscious at the time when we took him to the infirmary. When he woke up, he couldn’t remember anything! I was so scared. I felt like we were both there, but one of us were missing. I was so relieved when he regained his memory. “Sam?” I look up and see Snively looking down at me. The term ‘speak of the devil’ really is true after all! “I’m almost done. Just give me a few more minutes,” I say. “Sam, you’re supposed to be on vacation, not writing lyrics. You need to take a break,” he says to me. “I’m not writing lyrics. I’m actually writing a short memoir,” I reply. His pale blue eyes relax slightly. “Oh, well, will you finish up? I’m ready to go to Niagara Falls.” “Fine,” I reply again. He left the room pretty quickly. I guess you could say that’s ‘my life in a nutshell’. Life’s sort of like a painting in a way. You need to paint it colorful so your life will be bright. If you paint it dark, your life will be also. That just about covers it. I better go before Snively gets impatient. Later!
